Breitling Navitimer Replica unveiled the Ovale Collection, a brand new collection of watches inspired by restoration pieces. The new line includes two innovative timepieces, the Ovale Tourbillon and Breitling Navitimer Replica. It also features an ultra-limited edition of 10 pieces for a Parisian named Andre.

Vardon and Stedman, English jewelers who created the old oval watch with telescopic hand, inspired this new line. The Parmigiani master watchmakers have been fascinated by this exceptional historic watch with its elliptical shape,breitling navitimer replica telescopic hand and pantograph complication since 1997, when it was brought into the brand's workshops for restoration.

Ovale PantographThe new line's star is the oval-shaped Pantograph, with telescopic hand that follows the dial and case contours.

The two telescopic arms are based on pantograph,Corum Replica which multiplies a length with a factor to obtain movement at a larger or small scale. A cam in the middle of the mechanism controls a length that is then repeated X times over the entire hand. The measurement of the central cam provides the information required to move and set the hands as they follow their course around dial.

It is so finely tuned that the minute hand is never retracted further than the hour hand. The titanium hands of the watch are blued using a temperature over 550°C, and the markers and numbers are made from PVD-treated steel.

The Breitling Navitimer Replica's movement is based on our oldest movement, the caliber PF110. This movement was originally designed for the Hebdomadaire range. The new mechanism is named caliber PF111 and includes the retractable module. It combines a pantograph with a manual movement that has an impressive eight-day power reserve.
